I recorded my voice over straight onto iMovie. I used a podcaster mic to ensure that the audio quality was perfect. I just plugged the mic into my laptop, clicked record audio on iMovie and then moved the audio to where I wanted it in my trailer.
Then I used the iMovie audio effects and chose 'Telephone' as I wanted the killer to sound like they were talking to my protagonist on the phone.
